Gardening boots gift from Art Knapps
April 5, 2012

These boots were made for helping after they were donated to a Tri-Cities group that helps needy and vulnerable people.

This week, Share Family and Community Services representatives accepted a donation of over $1,000 worth of colourful rubber gardening boots from Wim Vander Zalm of Art Knapp Plantland. The boots will be sold at Shared Treasurers, Share's Port Moody thrift store, to raise funds for families in need.

Vander Zalm said he wanted to support Share because the group is local and serves the community well. "I love Share as an organization. I think they do a great job."

Share runs the food bank, family resource centres, and provides many other services including housing in Port Moody, Port Coquitlam and Coquitlam.
